fabulous friday challenge

Welcome to another week everyone! I hope it was a great one.

Here's my shot for this week. It was taken during the boys' superhero birthday party. I setup a photo booth using my backdrop and window light. I made capes and masks for the kids and cut the building cutouts from black foam core.

I know, I know. Purple backdrop again. I promise - no purple backdrop next week. In fact I already know what shot I'm going to post and I am excited to show you.

Supergirl

Have a great week and thanks for linking up! Just a reminder of the rules:

1. The picture has to be taken by you.
2. The picture has been taken during the past week and it can be a picture you have posted earlier in the week.
3. Link up using the link to your individual blog post and not your main blog address.
4. Please include the Fabulous Friday button (below) in your post to link back to my site.
5. Leave feedback for five other participants. Let them know what you think!
6. By linking up you are okay with me re-posting your photo here if you are chosen for the top five.

day 49 - go shorty it's your birthday

The day is finally here - the day of the boys' fourth birthday party.

It seems like just yesterday I did this for their third birthday.

My Little Nerd

Happy birthday to my beautiful boys. I can't believe you are four already. A big thanks to everyone for their help. I bit off way more than I could chew (as usual) and I appreciate all of the help in pulling this off.

day 48 - that name again is mr plow

Nothing gets two lazy little monkeys out of bed like the words "Hey! Is that the snow plow I hear?"

God bless the front end loader that goes down our street at 7 am sharp on snowy mornings. If only he could do it 12 months of the year.

Day 48

day 47 - ta daaaaaaaa.....

This is possibly the worst photo I've ever taken, but here's a shot of this week's project.

Two cans of Crimson Red interior latex paint and four big ass sheets of foam core later, I give you - a five foot high foam core telephone booth for the superheros to use for changing into their capes.

My kids don't understand the concept of the radio and why I can't repeat a song that just played. They definitely aren't going to know what a telephone booth is.

Day 47

day 46 - discount chocolate always tastes better

Last year's birthday party was fueled by Sour Patch Kids. This year's party is fueled by Ferraro Roche.

I had to go to Michaels to get some party supplies and discovered they had their Valentine chocolate on sale. By the time I had eaten five it seemed wrong to leave the other three in the packaging all alone.

Does discounted chocolate have less calories?

day 45 - you look like a monkey and you smell like one too

Four years ago I was told to go to the hospital and tell the doctor on call to deliver the twins right away. Five hours later the boys were born three weeks early.

Best Valentine's Day gift ever.

Day 45

Happy birthday my little monkeys. Here's hoping this is the year the terrible twos come to an end.

day 44 - i heart you pinterest

Okay, time to catch up. I'm going to start somewhere totally random and fill in as I go. It's time to catch up.

Today we made Ava's Valentines. I love you Pinterest. I've never been more inspired in my life.

The scratch-off tickets were unbelievably easy. A little bit of dish soap and some metallic acrylic paint from the dollar store and we were in business. A penny was taped to the back of each card.
