Tonight my sister took me out for a night on the town (thanks for a great time Mel!). We went out to dinner and a movie. It was so much fun. I can't think of a better way to spend a summer evening than sitting on a patio with my sister while drinking a caesar. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard.
She even introduced me to something new - deep fried pickles. I thought she was crazy, but they were actually delicious.
Here we are on the way to see Eclipse. This was probably take ten. I am getting really good at this whole self portrait thing, but the first few tries always have me with a look of concentration on my face. Then I had to get the sign in the background...anyway, you get the idea.
The verdict? Not too shabby. It wasn't better than the second movie, but it was still very good and exactly as I pictured in my head when I read the books.
After that we went to Timmys and got into our usual argument about who would pay. I hid her wallet as I fished around in my purse for my Tim Card. I was sure I had found it as we pulled up to the drive thru. Any idea how much you can buy with Owen's health card? Nothing apparently.
