Day 20 {the inauguration}

Today's pictures mostly centre around this huge day in history. I remember where I was the day the Challenger exploded, the day Princess Diana died and when 9/11 happened. My parents remember where they were the day that JFK was shot. This is another huge day in history (except it's a positive one) and I wanted to capture the boys and what they were doing at that exact moment.

Owen watching the Clintons come in. He was actually awake and watching the tv.

The swearing in hasn't happened yet, but Obama is the president. Yet another piece of info I would not know if it weren't for CNN.

The boys playing as Barack Obama is sworn in.

Owen playing on the floor during the speech.

My dad and Scarlett.

The boys playing peekabo. This picture is terrible as my flash didn't fire but I posted it anyway. They are interacting with each other more and more and I want to make sure I keep documenting it.

This was funny. I was trying to get Ethan to smile and Owen jumped out from behind the wall and smiled at me.

Other than that, the day had a few surprises. Owen continues to surprise me at how long he can stand on his own. And out of nowhere, Ethan is now taking 5 or 6 steps at a time totally unsupported.

That's about it. Thanks for looking!
