Day 39 {b/w photo course}

Today was a fun day. It started out like every other day with Scarlett guarding the kids by lying at the top of the stairs outside their bedroom doors...

Ava was running around with a few of her favourite books this morning. "Pigs" by Robert Munsch...

and Cinderella...

which she read to Owen. Lately she's been stopping me when I read to her and tells me not to read the words but to read the pictures. Wow. That kid's deep. So that's what she's doing here. She's "reading" the pictures and telling the story to Owen.

Then I was off to the photography seminar and realized that the GPS was almost dead and so was my cell. Luckily I noticed the bars were low on my phone and took Jason's cell for backup before I left. No such luck with the GPS. It started to die and I had to memorize the last few turns.

My purse looked like I robbed Best Buy:

Never a dull moment! Here's a picture Shannon took of me at the course lol. There's only so many pictures you can take of fruit and flowers so we made our own fun playing around with the red and green b/w filters. Check out that lady leaning against the wall in the background! She doesn't look impressed. She must have read my blog and my good natured bashing of the Nikon name. I'm surprised I made it out alive considering I was the only Canon user there.

Me daring Shannon to eat the fruit.

One of the shots of the flowers:

Check this out. Some jerk wrote on my car:

Shannon and I standing outside of Old Navy after we went on a spending spree for the boys' birthdays. That's me on the left. I'd like to point out that I am taller. :P Check out those legs! They go on forever.

Thanks for looking and thanks Shannon for a great day!
