My poor little baby (by 9 minutes) is sick. Owen had a rough day today.
Excuse the boogies. Lots of them today.
We went through a pile of this:
Owen was attached to my leg for a while this afternoon.
When I was making dinner he was playing and then he stopped for a rest.
The next thing I knew he was fast asleep on the floor snoring softly.
Until the other two saw he was asleep. Two minutes later Ethan tackled him and we were right back to picture one again.
The rest of the day was good though. Nana came over for a visit with two more mini Robert Munsch books for Ava. This is them reading Mud Puddle the first of at least three times Ava made my mom read it to her.
There was some dancing. Ava put her right leg in.
She did the Hokey Pokey and she turned herself around.
And that's what that was all about.
Ethan got a new nickname from Ava today. His name for the day? Little Red Riding Hood.
Some pictures were coloured.
The dog enjoyed every minute her master was at work.
This picture really illustrates the kids at this age. Ethan and Ava are inseparable and Owen just kinda does his own thing. He prefers to explore and is very independent.
Somebody went all day in underwear with no accidents. This is the first time she has done this for anybody other than the nanny. We are making great progress here. FINALLY.
That was it for today. I would have liked a picture taken of Ethan and I a few minutes ago. He woke up and was not happy so I sat with him in front of the computer and we watched YouTube clips. Forget Barney. We watched old Journey concert clips. And thus starts his rock appreciation lessons. Ava went through the same lessons. How many two year olds do you know who like Eleanor Rigby? Mommy is very proud.
Thanks for looking!

Love the Hokey Pokey...that's one of Alyssa's favourites too!
Way to go Ava with the potty training! That's awesome!
Awesome Ava. Yeah! Must have been a lot of treats yesterday. Nice Hokey Pokey.
