Today was not a good day. The boys both woke up at 4 and were wide awake. It took me forever to get back to sleep and just as I did Ava woke up screaming. After almost a week of no diapers at night, a potty training emergency landed her in our bed. On Jason's side. Mwahahahaha.
The pillows were strategically placed so she couldn't fall out of the bed. We had to sleep with the light on because it was too dark in our room.
Then the day actually got better. Everybody must have had the day off because there weren't many cars on the road. I made it to work in record time. I mean when was the last time you saw a Tim Hortons drive thru look like this at 8:45 on a Monday morning:
I drove right to the order thingy to claim a free extra large tea (I would later roll up the rim and find another winner - another coffee - no Toyota Venza...yet) and two seconds later was on my way. So I didn't have to wait, I got something free, I didn't have to swear at any other drivers on the road and my bangs looked pretty decent as opposed to the weekend when they were all over the place. Everything was good until I ran an errand in the afternoon. My SUV was revving too high and it was having problems shifting into gear. Of course when I had one of the guys at work check it, it wouldn't do it. Then when Jason tried it when I got home it didn't do it. Then he let it sit for a couple of hours and tried it again and it did it. It's not looking good at all and it's looking like it could end up needing a new transmission. GREAT.
Anyway, I drove home slower than usual watching the gauges the entire way. As a result, I have to take the van to work tomorrow. The good news is it has more gas than the truck did and I don't have to fill up. Bonus. That and if I forget my lunch and have to run out I have room to take the entire office with me.
Anyway, that was it for my day. I'm glad it's over.
Thanks for looking!

We had Tim Horton's in Ohio when I lived there.
Hope it is nothing serious with your car!
