Day 160 {anniversary}

Today is my grandparents' wedding anniversary. Fifty-nine years ago today they were married in Aruba. Not a day goes by that I don't think about them and miss them terribly.

Today was another challenging day. Once again I didn't take any pictures throughout the day because I was at work so I was limited to what I could get between when I got home and when the kids went to bed.

Here is a picture of Ava's nightly routine. Every night she has her bath and then I blow dry her hair. After that she gets to watch In the Night Garden and Max & Ruby. As much as I will forever be indebted to the wonderful people at Treehouse TV, there is only one show that I cannot watch with Ava because it drives me crazy. That show is In the Night Garden. I can take Max & Ruby and surprisingly even a little bit of Barney, but In the Night Garden is where I draw the line. I have to leave the room when it's on. So I did...

only to come back a little while later and find that Ava had destroyed a pair of my brand new earrings. Number of three year olds put to bed with no bedtime story: 1.

Other highlights you missed? My total digust at the scale first thing this morning. The scale that has not moved in several days. I am stuck. And how about me hobbling around after walking/jogging 3 km and biking 4 km in 45 minutes in an effort to see some movement on the scale tomorrow. Please god don't let it move up.

Anyway, another crappy day. Here's hoping tomorrow will be better. Thanks for looking! Oh and thanks for all of the offers of help in July. I will keep you all posted. You might all want to tag team it. Divide and conquer seems to work best. :)

You are just too funny! Good luck with those scales. They may need a good whack to get them moving in the right direction.

I am thankful that Alyssa rarely if ever watches In the Night Garden anymore :) When we first saw that show I thought someone was seriously on something...LOL For about a year she watched it every night, but as of late she hasn't, thank goodness!

Way to go with the exercising!! I wish I could get that motivated!! Way to go! I hope the scale is good to you in the morning! I don't even own a scale, probably for that very reason, I don't want to see the numbers starring back at me :)
