Day 302 {halloween cookies}

I made more halloween sugar cookies today and had more success keeping the frosting from running off this time.





My attempt at black frosting. I have determined it can't be done with regular good colouring. You need the actual Wilton stuff. Oh well. I worked with what I had.

Another secret to making black icing (even with wilton stuff!) is to use chocolate first. It helps to make it "black" without having to use too much die. Keeps the staining down and taste factor is better.
