On Friday night I had to stop at Walmart to pick up a couple of things on my way home from work. I was standing in the cleaning products aisle and got a little too excited that Scrubbing Bubbles has a spa scented refill for my automatic shower cleaner. What has happened to me?!

The shower cleaner itself isn't expensive (like $15 from Zehrs) but each bottle of cleaner is $6 and it was empty in 2 weeks using it once a day. I read online that you can refill them yourself using 3 tbsp of jet dry and the rest water and that it works well but I'll have to see because I also read that if you refill it, the liquid can leak into the battery cavity and fry it.
But...so far so good. I really, really recommend the spray foam cleaner in the purple can. I used it on our whirlpool tub and I have never seen it shine so brightly. I had been using Mr. Clean and it wasn't working well at all. It couldn't get the soap scum and I can't reach far enough across the tub to scrub it really well without climbing/falling in. The foam stuff bubbled and dissolved the soap scum and all I had to do was wipe it down and rinse it away. It's fabulous and only $4 a can.
If you go here you can get a $5 off coupon on the shower cleaner and other coupons for refills, etc:

Another cool thing I read about is that if you are like us, hanging the cleaner over the shower meant we had to do away with our shower caddy that holds our shampoo and conditioner. I read online that a lady called them and asked and apparently they have a caddy that attaches to the unit and they sent it to her for free. They apparently have them in stores occasionally for promotions. I am going to see if I can get one.
** The only thing and it’s a big thing is to google it because I also remember reading something about it not being good for septic tanks so you might want to check it out. Scrubbing Bubbles claims it isn’t harmful to septic tanks, but I read a few complaints last night from people who said theirs started to act up once they started using it.**
Anyway, sorry this is so long. Hope this helps!
