This week Ava got a letter in the mail from her kindergarten teacher. I can't believe it is almost time for her to go to school.

Her brothers however, are a work in progress. Here we are on the way to Vicki's house and Owen and I are arguing over farm animals. He was adamant that the cows we passed were horses. Thankfully we still have two more years to work on that. ;)

Ava has really been taking an interest in pictures and has been using my camera more and more. Unfortunately I think my camera's days are numbered as it has acted up a couple of times in the past month, so I wanted to get her using her own camera to save mine a bit. The camera she has is terrible (don't waste your money on the Little Tykes digital camera), so I gave her my first digital camera. It's a Sony digital camera and probably one of the better ones for that time. I paid almost $1,000 for it and the extra memory card cost me $80. That memory card would hold one picture from my current camera.
Anyway, it was a big hit and she has been taking pictures non-stop. I explained project 365 to her and she was quite excited at the thought of taking pictures on a regular basis and was thrilled when I told her to pick one of her shots and I would put it on my blog. She wanted to post a horrifying picture of me with a clay mask on my face but I over ruled her, so here's what we went with:

She took this picture herself while we were out today and she came up with the caption.
