day 12 - who needs paint when you have toothpaste

The hook and eye locks on the doors upstairs have been a success for the most part. There have been some problems, however. For example, the bathroom door has a lock that is Ava's height so she can get in and out. It's only been a couple of days, but it is already my experience that this lock only works when she doesn't let her brothers into the bathroom.

And I thought they were playing in (trashing) her room. Silly me. It was quiet and I should have known better.

So I counted to ten. Several times. Then I think I might have made a comment about shipping them off to the circus to live with the monkeys. They screamed and cried "NO! NO!", but several hours later the three of them came up to me fully dressed in hats, flip flops, jackets, rubber boots (anything and everything they could find in the closet). They were going to the circus.

And boy were they pissed when they found out that they weren't.

Oh. My. Gosh! That is crazy! LOL I laughed out loud! Kids are just great aren't they!? I know the mess to clean up wasn't fun and I bet you gasped when you saw it but later on when you pull those pics out to show their future wives/girlfriends you'll get your revenge LOL!

Oh my word....I do believe I would have about died! Counting to 10 would be a tough one for me on that....But with that being said-it made for some great pictures and some funny memories years from now when you look back at these pictures!

Someday you'll laugh about this (I think). I know a mom who keeps from yelling at her kids by calmly telling herself, "Get the camera." :)

Oh boy! That looks like a blast, well, at least for them, right? There's nothing better than cleaning up a big mess. These pictures made me smile. So cute.

LMAO!!! As usual I feel your pain. I think I buy a new tube of toothpaste every few weeks. And the kids foaming hand soap I can't keep it in the house anymore. Its way too much fun to 'paint' with.

So this is what trouble looks like, eh? Glad you were able to make the most of it!

I go through similar situations everyday with Cadeyn. He's alwys mucking in something everytime he goes to the bathroom. Lately he's been coming down smelling like he put on every tester in the perfume aisle at SEARS! LOL.

Gotta love them....the law says so:)

WOW! Little monkeys!
That must be why they were asking me about our toothpaste today. Should I hide it?

Thought they were going to the circus huh? Are they too late to learn the phrase "payback's a bitch"? Ha ha ha.
