day 23 - today is picture day

Okay everyone: it's picture day. Get your smiles ready.

Perfect.

Armed with a new backdrop, I decided that today was picture day. I set all of my studio stuff up and then I tore it all back down. Who needs lights when you have beautiful natural light coming in through the windows?

Two little boys are a few short weeks away from turning three so it was time to do their three year pictures. I have a million and one things I want to do with them but I need to collect my thoughts and figure some things out before I share them. Start looking for them a bit later in the week.

Big thanks to Nana who came over to help me. She played with the kids and helped Ava read a story. I wondered if Green Eggs and Ham was a little too hard for Ava at this point, but she did very well and surprised me yet again.

The first picture is also my submission for this week's challenge at You Capture: happy. :)

Cute. I love natural light too. I actually just received my studio set up about 2 months ago. Any suggestions on good backgrounds to try? Also, are you working with a special studio flooring?

Great photos! Love the smile, and the "green eggs and ham". I grew up loving that book, and read it to my own kids.
