day 28 - the art of the rickroll

For those of you doing Project 365, this time of year is the hardest part of the whole thing. If you can make it through to March and the nicer weather, you can go the entire stretch.

Today was one of those days. I had an idea for a photo, but it didn't work out so I had to improvise a bit. I was sitting at my desk working away and every once in a while I'd doodle a bit. I started with some lyrics from the last song I downloaded to my iPod and then went from there.

Bragging rights to those able to correctly identify the three songs these lyrics come from and one of them is a gimme.

So what do what do you do when you're not inspired? You channel all of that energy and you rickroll baby. A group (of which I may or may not have been a part) worked quickly and efficiently this morning to selflessly "jazz up" the profile of another.

All I've heard is complaining since the new Facebook profiles have come in. I happen to think they are brilliant. And the possibilities! This kind of brilliance was never possible with the old profiles. Bravo Facebook.

P.S. Check your Facebook, Len.

OK, I think I have them:

Train (I LOVE that song and the line you doodled has randomly popped into my head since the summer)

Flo Rida (arrogant like yeah!)

Maroon 5 (this song totally reminds me of something that would be playing at a roller skating party in the early 80s, which is to say that it's awesome)

Also, thank you for stopping by my site and commenting, I love it when new people visit!

Awesome job Heidi! You beat me to it! I have the same three songs in my playlist Jen!

How can you tell we're sisters??? :)

Do you have the Michael Jackson/Akon duet on your iPod or anything by the Script? Those are my favorites lately!

Your doodles are beautiful! I am a self-proclaimed professional doodler...I even wrote a paper about doodling in college- research shows that it helps you clear your mind and think better---so doodle away!
I only know the last song- its by Maroon 5, right?

Thanks everyone! Yep - Heidi is right! The answers were:

Give a Little More - Maroon 5
The Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida
If it's Love - Train

Mel - I had forgotten about the MJ song. I just downloaded it. Thanks! Haven't heard about the Script. I will have to check it out. xo

Thanks Veronica and snapshots! Always great to get new followers and nice to know people are interested. :)

Nice doodles! And you helped me out with your comment about getting through March!! I haven't quite lost inspiration (yet) a couple of dreary days were not too appealing though...but my main worry of starting a 365 was that I wouldn't make it to the end!
P.S. thanks for visiting my "He Guides Me" blog...if you are interested in following my 365 journey, it's in my profile under "Why Not 365" :)
