day 32 - two scoops of raisins

A couple of weeks ago I came across a great site and signed up for a free online course called the Joy of Love. Each day for the month of February, they email photo ideas, tips and prompts to help encourage the creative process.

Last night I received my first email. The prompt for today is "they do".

Being a work day, photo opportunities were limited so I chose to photograph the boys eating breakfast. Every morning my boys eat the same thing: Raisin Bran. They amaze me. We've got Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes and Rice Krispies in the cupboard and they want Raisin Bran. And if we don't have it, there's hell to pay.

They're like a pair of 85-year old men.

But slightly more regular I suspect.

haha.. I totally get that!
I took a similar image awhile back, with my daughter eating Mini wheats. Her choice, everymorning.

the "85 year old men" comment gave me an instant visual of two grumpy old, identical men...:-)

I can't believe they eat Raisin Bran! And looking at your box of cereal, I'm thinking you might live in Canada? Plus you've got that Goofy Newfie picture in the previous post. My husband is from Calgary, so I was just wondering?
You know, I have never bought some but I bet my son would love it.

Ha! To your slightly more regular comment. My kids are on a Mini Wheats kick and also skip all the sweet stuff. Go figure. I'm doing Joy of Life, too.

it's so funny, my mom, 75 years old, has eaten Cheerios, a half of banana, a glass of OJ and a cuppa tea for breakfast everyday of her adult life. My dad gets Rice Chex, the other half of banana and one glass of OJ. No he can't have a second glass as they would run out before my mom's next shopping day!

Thank you so much everyone! Danelle - I am in Canada! I'm about an hour and a half north of Toronto. I have been to Calgary once in my life. I didn't see much of I as it was for business but what I saw was beautiful. :)

Thanks again everyone! I highly recommend checking out the class. I'm loving it so far. Good luck!!
