day 40 - chicks dig scars

Wednesday, 9 February 2011

The boys' dump trucks drive me crazy. They zoom all over the house, bouncing off baseboards and the noise they make rolling all over the place could wake the dead.

With that being said, the kids (Ava included) love them.

What I don't understand is why they have sharp edges on them. Poor Owen was playing today and while he was running around, he placed his hands down hard on the back of the dump truck. The dumper flipped up and cut him right beside his eye. Poor Owen. Thank god he was okay.

Not impressed, Tonka.

Don't worry, Bud. Chicks dig scars and you have a beautiful smile and adorable disposition. And let's not forget that not only are you excellent at vacuuming, you actually enjoy doing it.

You'll make a fine husband one day.

So glad to hear he is ok. They are tough little boys! Look at that sad little face.

Aww! Poor guy. I know all the vehicles and stuff have sharp edges. Isn't the noise so loud?!

OUCH! Poor little guy! On the bright side, I see the duck tape is off of the TV stand. Only took 3 years....there is hope for us yet! :)
