the joy of love - what they wear

I've never been a morning person and that hasn't changed since having kids.

Getting three kids out the door in the morning before work is not easy. One person always refuses to get out of bed (AVA). Something that was there five minutes ago goes missing, only to be found immediately after we have come up with an alternate plan. Some days there are unforseen circumstances like somebody leaves a full bag of cereal open in the centre of the kitchen floor and the dog eats half of it before I can get to it. And 99.999% of the time, somebody stops listening and I watch any minutes we were ahead of schedule slip away and we end up leaving the house late.

This picture gives the appearance that we were coordinated this morning, but it couldn't be further from the truth. It wasn't easy and I admittedly was a bit of a tyrant at times, but we did it. And we will do it all over again first thing Monday morning.

Come on spring. Prove the groundhog right and let's get this show on the road.

I love that even in the midst of chaos you were still able to capture a beautiful shot! And your last sentence cracked me up--I agree!

He looks happy as a clam and seems to not even notice the whirlwind of activity going on around him.
