day 74 - no man is a failure who has friends

Day two of March Break. Have no fear - we have tv again. My kids keep referring to it as the "little tv". It's a 27" set and I remember the day my grandparents were given it for their 40th wedding anniversary. It was the top of the line at the time and huge by 1990 standards. It was four times the size of the tv I had in college. All that I care is that I am able to watch General Hospital again.

Anyway, it was sleepover day today for Ava and her best friend L.

It also marked the beginning of a really bumpy rest of the week for me. After getting a big hug from L's mom and dad when I dropped Ava off, a quote came to mind that would come to mind again several times later in the week: "No man is a failure who has friends."

Word, Clarence.

Jen, I have to laugh about the 27" tv...we only just got rid of ours at the beginning of this year! We bought it when we got married, almost 10 years ago now. We finally got a flat screen tv...how did we ever watch a 27 inch, I'll never know! LOL

Sending lots of positive vibes your way! Thinking of you :)

the Luke and Laura wedding ~ I remember it well. I don't watch much TV and when I do it's on a 9" screen.
