fabulous friday - top five and a winner!

You did it again. Another week, another set of absolutely incredible photographs. I think I speak for both Andrea and I when I say that once again, judging was next to impossible.

I think the thing that struck me the most about this week's entries was the processing. It was absolutely beautiful and in each case it complemented the photo beautifully.

So while it wasn't easy, here is this week's top five:

Flower Photography entered this absolutely beautiful photo of an adorable newborn. The processing is perfect and I think what I love the most about it is the mystery behind it. Who is holding the baby? Is it the father? A very proud grandfather? Very cool and it just speaks to me.

I love this picture by April at Boomer & Buggy. There's just something about the warm tones of the cat's fur matching its surroundings. It also has an incredible clarity about it. You can see each and every hair on the cat's fur. Love this.

This fantastic picture with a beautifully short depth of field is by Rebecca at Rebecca the Housewrecka. Check out her blog for a link to the free action she used to process this shot of her son. Thanks for the link, Rebecca!

This shot by Marla at Blue Skies Photography is awesome. There are agriculture companies out there that pay big money for shots like this. I love the strong horizon and it goes great with the arc in the sprinkler. And the processing? Awesome.

And the winner of week three is...

Jaymi from Live, Love, Travel for her beautiful capture of Fort Sam Cemetery. Everything about this photo is absolutely perfect. The strong horizon and the fact that the bottom of the tree follows it, the symmetry of the headstones and the processing is brilliant. Anyway, I could go on and on all day. This image just plain rocks.

Make sure when you check it out that you look at Jaymi's entire post as it contains her favourite shots for the quarter. I loved so many of them I lost count. You have got to check it out.

Congrats everyone! Please sure to grab your button below for your blog!
