I'm pretty simple. I'm not into makeup and I can't justify paying money for a pedicure when I am perfectly capable of doing it myself. I don't usually fight the kids too much on what they wear as it really doesn't matter much at the end of the day and it is a part of their creative expression.
So when Owen asked me to paint his nails green today, I went with it. It wasn't the hill I wanted to die on and really, at the end of the day he rocked the hell out of that green nail polish.
